After completing the nursing course of education, the plan is to be a well-qualified nurse who operates in a critical healthcare environment.
Section 2: The Content of My Programmed and How It Links to My Career

With medical experience, the nurses also have to present effective comfort and communication with the patients. In this process, the current program includes specific learning models that can help me in organizing my professional career plan and gain valuable insights into my strengths and weaknesses.
Current Position in Career and Goal
In the current time, I am continuing with my academic studies and course programs. Through this specific study, my career goal is to be recognized as a professional nurse by working in the area of healthcare operations, such as hospitals and community health organizations. My focus of healthcare is surgical nursing, which includes operating emergency medical departments. In this statement, my current academic degree is expected to provide me with the necessary skills and knowledge for future growth and development.
Modules to support my career growth
My learning course includes multiple academic models that I have to complete to gain knowledge. Some of the specific modules are presented below.

Effectiveness of Modules in reaching career goals

There are two aspects of those courses which include theoretical applications and practical understanding. The theoretical aspect helps me acquire professional knowledge and skill towards detailed learning of concepts to reach academic excellence (Al-Osaimi and Fawaz, 2022). On the other hand, practical understandings such as projects, written medical reports, and case studies help me to understand the complexities that are presented in real-world scenarios. By combining efforts in those two factors, I can be highly confident in acquiring success in my planner career option of nursing.
Section 3: SWOT Analysis / Personal Development Plan
In order to maintain a balance between the growth of both academic and professional skills, the SWOT analysis is conducted, which highlights the current skills and areas of improvement regarding the nursing career.
Strength
- One of my most critical abilities is hard work and perception, which helps me to fully focus on my studies and selected career path. This skill also contributed significantly to my academic performance and motivational levels.
- Another key skill of mine is effective communication, which is one of the most important for a nurse. A nurse has to maintain effective communications with both the patients and high medical operatives to ensure health and wellbeing of the patient (Alanazi et al., 2024).
- I am also very capable of managing time, for example, in my coursework I balance all my studies, hobbies, and personal responsibilities as an effective manager. The nursing professional also demands this skill to effectively manage multiple tasks in critical situations.
Weaknesses
- Although I present high academic performance, I still lack in many areas of improvement due to certain skill gaps. One of them is a lack of confidence and self-doubt. The self-doubt is also affecting my critical decision-making capabilities in critical situations.
- I am also not very efficient in handling highly active, stressful situations, which is due to my lack of stress management skills (Elomaa et al., 2021). I am also not very knowledgeable about specific techniques that can be able to help in managing my stress levels.
- Digital use and IT skills are another weak factor of mine which includes which needs to be mitigated to achieve excellence in nursing. This is also due to my lack of professional knowledge and understanding of factors.
Opportunities
- In the field of nursing, there are multiple opportunities for improvement and development of my professional career, such as continuation of education, advanced certification in healthcare, and doctoral studies (King et al., 2021). The biggest opportunity is presented by the academic course, which includes a variety of internships and voluntary actions that are presented in professional healthcare environments.
- The close and connected working experience with professional healthcare individuals is going to significantly boost the carrier network and connectivity. Those professionals can also provide specific guidance to my carrier path and future.
- After becoming a professional nurse, I also can proceed with my education and conduct specialized courses in nursing careers.
Threats
- Despite higher education and experience opportunities, the nursing carrier also possesses specific challenges that affect my future carrier plan. The biggest challenge that is presented in the life of professional nurses is balancing both personal and professional life (Gribben and Semple, 2021).
- The nursing career is very competitive with minimal annual demand and a strict selection procedure, which makes the chance of selection as a professional nurse very low (Tamata et al., 2021).

Teamwork and Collaboration
Teamwork and collaboration are considered highly important skills for all health care professionals, including RNs, and are vital for providing health care with quality and safety for patients (Allert et al., 2022).
